A real classic in the traditional Belgium cuisine, made with North Sea shrimp — small, and very flavorful. I had these crispy, crouton coated shrimp balls in l’Ogenblick, a traditional Belgian restaurant located in the heart of the magnificent Gallery of the Princes. Fresh food, generous and refined dishes, nice wood/glass paneling with a real old-fashioned feel… but I admit that the prices are higher than what you can expect from a brasserie. In other words, l’Ogenblick serves top quality, gourmet type of dishes in a charming, homely decor. Their sole meuniere is exceptional — and definitely worth the price. Great for business dinners.
