Be sure to swing by this neighbourhood, arty café in funky Newtown and try their delicious, flavorsome dishes spiced with Lebanese notes. I had this humble homemade pie with chorizo, eggplant, basil and beans (12AUD) but there are more audacious dishes to be ordered, think haloumi and pea pancakes or zaatar roasted tomates and date bread. Warm and friendly staff. A long, handwritten quote from Khalil Gibran on the cream colour walls and the large banquettes with cushions make the place particularly cosy. Oh and their coffee is really good. A real treasure in one of the coolest areas of Sydney.
